ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system architecture and design, with a focus on developing and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform. This role requires proficiency in Agile methodologies and object-oriented programming (OOP), along with experience in APIs, web services, and microservices. The ServiceNow Developer will play a crucial role in enhancing our IT service management capabilities while ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party applications to enhance system functionality.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
• Conduct system architecture reviews to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
• Implement vulnerability management practices to secure applications against potential threats.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Maintain documentation for system design, processes, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer or similar role with a strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
• Proficiency in system architecture, APIs, web services, and microservices.
• Familiarity with Pegasystems is a plus.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of system design principles and best practices.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and OOP concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
